Daniel meets Kevin
Daniel was flown down from Newcastle to meet his hero Kevin Dualla. Dan was fascinated by the program "Blues Clues" and he wanted to meet the presenter and to visit the set. With military precision the trip was set in motion and the event took place. On the return flight was one very very happy boy. Daniel was presented with a video of the meeting to remind him of the day that he met his hero.

James to meet Justin Rose
An avid golfer and Junior Club Captain, young James was struck with leukemia and was undergoing treatment at the world famous "Barts" Hospital in London. Having been through the vigorous treatment it was time for a treat. Just prior to the 2002 Open Championship, Justin Rose was practicing at his local club and agreed to take time out of his busy schedule to give James a few tips and a little extra coaching. The two of them went out to enjoy 9 holes. Returning to the club house was one happy young man accompanied by a true professional and gentleman.

Adam meets Phil Collins
It was Adams wish to be able to have a drumming lesson, who better than the aficionado of the skins, Phil Collins. Adam was picked up from home under the pretence that he was going for another hospital visit. Little did he know! A couple of hours later we arrived at the Genesis studio's in darkest Sussex. Adam was greeted by Phil and given a tour of the facilities then it was down to business. Having settled down behind the biggest drum kit imaginable, Adam donned the headsets and was told to lay down the rhythm for what we discovered was the new soundtrack for the Disney blockbuster "Tarzan".

Lisa & Samira Receive their Dream Tickets
2 young ladies, Lisa (left) and Samira (Right) are both presented with their tickets and itineraries, to fulfill their Dream, to meet Mickey Mouse in Florida. The tickets were presented by His Worship the Mayor of Islington Cllr. Joe Trotter in the council chamber, on hand to assist with the proceedings, was local resident and supporter of Dial-A-Dream Ms. Linda Robson.

Looking at the pictures it was hard to tell who was the most excited, Linda or the girls.

As the nominated charity for the London Borough of Islington for the year 2001/2002, we are very proud to be associated with such a conscientious and hard working (fundraising) Mayor.

Alex, Clare and Paul off to Euro Disney
One of the first "dreams" that we undertook involving travel, was to send these three children from Gt. Ormond St. Hospital to Euro Disney. All three suffered from Cystic Fibrosis.
